BIO

I am a local artist in Loudoun County, Virginia. My artwork consists of drawings rendered in colored pencil, pastels, paint, mixed media and photographs. I draw my inspiration from my photography of animals in their natural habitat. As a child growing up on a farm, I have always felt happiest when I am surrounded by animals and nature.

I enjoy drawing pet portraits for owners of horses, cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, and others. Many of my drawings feature animals from the Ponies and Snowy Egret on Chincoteague Island to the Red Fox and Great Horned Owl here in Northern Virginia.

I’m currently available to draw pet portraits in Colored Pencil, Pastels and Mixed Media.
